Join us for an introduction tour to the monumental parts and the centre of Lisboa. Coaches will depart from the official hotels in the city centre for a panoramic drive along the main avenues and a presentation of Belém, the monumental part of Lisbon, where the UNESCO world heritage sites of the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery are to be found.

Sintra - A UNESCO World Heritage Site​

Located about 30 km northwest of Lisbon - Sintra is a beautiful town at the foot of the mountain range with the same name.  Its unique characteristics and natural riches, historic buildings in the town and mountains led UNESCO to create a special category in order to classify the whole historical village and the mountain as a World heritage site.

Lisboa Vineyards on the south bank of the river

Depart from official hotels by coach crossing the river Tagus via the 25th of April bridge built in the 1960's by the US Steel Company, a "sister bridge" of the Golden Gate in San Francisco. Just across the river on the Palmela Peninsula we find the closest vineyards to Lisboa, famous for its fortified dessert wine "Moscatel" as well as the table wines produced in the area. The tour includes a visit to one of the modern Wine cellars for a guided tour and tasting. Return to Lisbon via the Vasco da Gama Bridge, built for the world exhibition held in Lisbon in 1998. At the time of its construction this was the longest bridge in Europe.

Medieval Obidos and Alcobaça 

By a landscape rich in windmills and fruit trees we arrive to Óbidos, a walled town surrounded by medieval walls where we can admire the harmony of the architecture, the diversity of the handicrafts and taste the famous “ginginha” (bitter cherry liqueur). Visit to Alcobaça with the first and largest gothic church in Portugal with the tombs of D. Pedro and Inês de Castro, known by it’ s love story.
